Last night TriCoast got to do a something we rarely get to do……..photograph a local wedding where our studio is located (Brazoria County, Texas) and the groom being one of Mike’s old neighbors next to his parents house.  Having grown up and watching Scotty (Scott) grow up it was quite nice to spend his special day with him and his new bride.  Here are a few images from their special event!

Thank you both for allowing us to share your wedding day with you!

Ken kneringer: Love the sunset shot!, amazing!

This past week Mike went to Denver, CO to capture commercial images for Public Service Credit Union.  PSCU has over 30 branches located all over central Colorado, as far South as Colorado Springs and as far North as Fort Collins.  So for several days Mike drove around all over central Colorado capturing landscapes and cityscapes of the area and then on Thursday Mike captured over 2000 images of Employee’s and Members of the P.S.C.U. which will be used for Billboards, fliers and other marketing material.

While we can not show you much due to the contract here is one CityScape of Denver, CO. for you to look at.

Stainless Steel Set: That is beautiful, tnx for sharing! Cheers, Alex

I’ve been asked time and time again. I smile and slyly sady “It’s a secret.” People look at me funny, then smile and say “Oh, ok.” And then I do a little laugh in my head as I’ve been RELISHING the thought of these photos for a LONG time.

Since Suzy and I have gotten engaged, we had pretty much figured out who our wedding photographer would be. Before all us (well ok, we chose the location first, but this was a VERY close 2nd)

We have been blessed with SO many talented and wonderful photography friends, but for us it was pretty easy to figure out who we wanted documenting our big day.

I can tell you one thing WE DID NOT want. WE DID NOT want our wedding to feel like the papparazzi with 90 gajillion photogs getting in the way of the main photog. I did not want 125 zillion flashes going off around us. So Suzy and I discussed who would it be? We wanted someone super fun. Someone we could spend the entire wedding day with. Someone who could make us feel comfortable BEHIND the camera. Someone who has badass camera skills. Someone who has badass lighting skills. We found that someone. They IMMEDIATELY came to mind.

WHO?! WHO?! are you wondering? Can you not stand it anymore?? :)

I’ve been on the EDGE of my seat waiting for these from this BADASS PHOTOGRAPHER.

Everyone, please give it up for our freaking AWESOME wedding photographer – ED PINGOL

Ed and his freaking adorable wife Monica are two of the MOST genuine and overall NICEST people you will EVER EVER EVER MEET.

I’m going to stop talking now and just you how freaking awesome Ed is…

Ed, once again, thank you thank you THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

You know one thing we enjoy capturing here at TriCoast is our High School Seniors/Grads.  Remember back when you are 17-18 years old life was so different than it is today for you, so many choices that needed to be made, so many things that seemed so important, it is quite a wonderful time in one’s life.  Along with being a senior is Senior Prom and a few months back we were honored to capture this young lady in her prom dress.  A studio only session (we just captured her outdoor session this week – more to come on it here our blog in a few days) and we wanted the images to be powerful and beautiful, two things this young lady surely has.

Rob: Awesome lighting! Nice series.....

OK she is pretty too but dang I just love a girl that is not scared to get a little “out there” and handle some snakes.

Meet Angelia, one of TriCoast Seniors/Grads that just graduated from Angleton High School here in Texas.  A wonderful young lady which we have known since she was about 3.  It was truly a weird feeling seeing one of my old friend’s daughter all grown up and ready to take on the world.  Of course that means I have gotten old but it also means with that age I could make sure she had some great images to remember her Senior year.

Let me know what you all think!

Ken kneringer: Wayyyyyyy cool shot!

Scotty and his soon to be beautiful bride, Melissa are simply amazing and wonderful people.  I have known Scotty for many years growing up next store to my parents (and me) as a child so having the chance to capture his engagement session is one of those times I simply am honored to be a photographer.

With their wedding coming up this month I wanted to share a few simple engagement portraits captured during their short engagement session here on the Gulf Coast.

Guys we really are looking forward to capturing your special day and sharing the day with you both!

TriCoast had the true honor to photograph one of our local high schools, and one which my niece will be going to starting next year, Brazosport Christian High School.  I must admit before working with this school 2 years ago I was not much of a fan of private schools.  As a general rule they are farther behind than public school in the way of educating our children and the kids usually miss out on extra events such as sports and band.

Well BCS really changed my thoughts on private schools, turning out amazingly well, educated young men and women and still finding a way to give them sports and other extra items.  While the numbers are not near as high as public schools the young men and women they are producing will stand up to any high school graduate I have come in contact with.  So with all this said it truly is a humbing experience being able to share the graduation night of the senior kids at BCS.

Thank you for such inspiring moments and everyone here at TriCoast truly wish you the best in the next stage of your life…..adulthood.
