Last week we were informed that one of our Senior/Grad images had been selected as one of only a handful of portraits to be displayed in a slideshow in the Kodak Times Square Marquee in New York City.  Trying to figure out how this actually happened we had to do a little research to understand it all.  So a call to Kodak was made and the details slowly made themselves clearer to us.

Out of 1000's of images submitted, TriCoast Photography is chosen by Kodak to be displayed in Times Square, New York

Mike: We can not thank you enough for submitting our image to Kodak Kelly and the entire crew at www.Collages.net. Not only did you all National publish TriCoast first but without your support we simply would not be where we are today. THANK YOU SO MUCH for believing in us when others would not! Kodak and Times Square

March 24, 2011

And the winner is……

You will just have to wait and see.

We just were informed that TriCoast Photography will have a High School Senior/Grad portrait on the Kodak Times Square Marquee in New York City. Displayed for the entire world to see we will unveil the now “Famous” high school senior/grad very soon and even display the website which everyone can view the images displayed in the slideshow in New York. So no need to travel to New York City to view these images but it of course I would suggest it.

EXCITED to see our work displayed larger than life…… Check back soon for all the details

Private 1 on 1 workshop

March 9, 2009

A few weeks ago I had a 1 on 1 workshop with Angi Caples of Studio 3C in Monroe, LA.  Angi, already an awesome photographer, was looking to add a bit more wireless flash into her arsenal.  She picked it up quick and within an hour, she’s off shooting some great images on her own.  To see some more of her images, check out her blog at http://studio3cphotography.blogspot.com

- Jordan

Shannon S: Amazing stuff Jordan!! Wish you lived closer to Minnesota! Would love to learn form you and the entire Tri-Coast Crew!

Angi: Hey Jordan! Thanks so much for the kind words! I had an awesome time with you and our model Alanah. This workshop was the best thing that I could have done with my business and I recommend it to anyone that wants to take their flash to the next level! Thanks again Jordan!!! Angi

What happens when you get a model for a workshop that knows a bit more about a camera than what she lets on?  How about a random surprise image in your cf card :)

Here’s a shot of her during a lighting demo.

curtoneil: Does that say loser or lover. That middle letter is tricky. If lover, well played ;) Although looking at the previous s - not so well played.

Jordan: Sadly, I think it's Loser as well. LOL!

Alanah: I definately wrote LOSER.... =] bahahha look at my miget thumb... <3 ALANAH

elissa: way to go alanah! bahaha.

Angi: I would bet it's "S" based on how rotten you were that day, lol

Jordan: You do have a midget thumb! LOL!
