Today we photographed Brittany and Adan’s engagement session on the south Texas coast! This couple couldn’t be more perfect for each other – their love was overflowing ON and OFF camera. The weather was absolutely wonderful, not a cloud in the sky and warm winds on the beach.
These shots were all done using the sun as our main light with a Canon speedlite as our hair light. If you’d like more details on
how these shots were composed or posing – feel free to ask!

These are just a few quick edits that we put together tonight from this beautiful shoot.

Well – this moment was ruined!
Always remember that having fun behind the scenes is just as important as the perfect shot.

Last night TriCoast got to do a something we rarely get to do……..photograph a local wedding where our studio is located (Brazoria County, Texas) and the groom being one of Mike’s old neighbors next to his parents house.  Having grown up and watching Scotty (Scott) grow up it was quite nice to spend his special day with him and his new bride.  Here are a few images from their special event!

Thank you both for allowing us to share your wedding day with you!

Alaina and Derrek

April 4, 2009

Few weeks ago, before all the crazy traveling started, Cody and I drove up to Heather’s Glen to photography Alaina and Derrek’s Wedding.  It was a short and sweet ceremony followed by a fun reception.  The wedding also included a different approach to tossing birdseed to the bride and groom.  In this case, just the groom.  Click on the image link to the quick custom designed album with some of the images from that day.

Bridal: Alaina

March 7, 2009

I had a great time the other day with Alaina shooting her bridal session.  Her mom, Marsha, came to help us out.  Sometime during the session, someone left the bouquet in a flower bed outside… I’m not going to say who, but we all know who it is.  Our session was in Heather’s Glen, beautiful wedding venue few blocks away from downtown Conroe, TX.  Here are a couple of images.

TriCoast is so very proud and humbled to have been chosen as the photographer or in this case the photographers to make the cover of Studio Photography’s Wedding Issue for 2009. Studio Photography has always been a magazine which we have personally subscribed too and read for their educational aspects and cutting edge in the photography business, but truly NEVER thought we had a chance to be on the cover.

A session which is known for being one of THE images of our amazing buddies at Collages.net, our “Red Wall Bride” is truly one of TriCoast’s favorite brides and even now, several years later the image still is one of the strongest TriCoast has ever taken. Check out the Online Issue of Studio Photography and remember the magazine is FREE to all who are interested so while stopping by on their site sign up for your subscription, I promise you wont be sorry!

Thank you again Studio Photography for trusting us and our artwork for this amazing honor, truly it means the world to us!
