Mike’s Dad’s 50 High School Reunion
April 3, 2011Well last night was my father, Max’s, 50th High School Reunion from Brazosport High School down in Freeport Texas. So we (TriCoast) wanted to do something special for him and his old friends and we donated our time and our equipment to taking images and printing them out on the spot using our Instant Print Lab. So Cody and I set up a TON of equipment at the Lake Jackson Civic Center including a individual/couple station and a large 25 foot wide group station. Nothing fancy here with the decor this is not a Prom, we just wanted large drops with decent/basic lighting so everyone could go home with a photo of themselves and their spouse and any of their friends in group photos.
So thanks for a great time with some wonderful people. As one lady told us “You sure are making a bunch of old people happy tonight” and well you know what that was just what we wanted to do!
Here is a quick image I captured of my Mother and Father during the event, first portrait they have had together in many years, so again thats kinda cool!
As an added bonus we got to see Austin’s own Johnny Dee and the Rocket 88′s and 50′s/60′s teenager star Jimmy Clanton which one of the classmates hired to play the event, which I must admit was very cool.
