OK I might get in trouble on this one in the photography world but you know what who cares.  Over the past year or so I have read many photographers who have “Rock Star” status in the photography world.  Either earned, given or self promoted these “Rock Stars” have flocks of photographers following them for various reasons.  Some are wonderful people and I will admit most are well not so wonderful.  TriCoast could and well is considered to be a “RockStar” in certain circles, though I never have thought of myself that way, especially being just simple people from Texas and still drive my old car with 190,000 miles on it.  However no matter who starts up the conversation, it seems when these conversations do start up the one name that always pops up is Jasmine Star.  So lets talk about her as it seems everyone else is these days.

What’s Up with That!?

We are still around and on this blog – I PROMISE we will get it updated with our recent photos and recent events soon!

Check back soon for the updated art from the TriCoast gang!

Over the past few years TriCoast has been working closely with our local Credit Union, Texas Dow Employee’s Credit Union or better known as TDECU as their main commercial photographer.  Starting right after Hurricane Ike destroyed our area we captured both employees and members of the credit union in front of the camera.  Using different tones to match the clothing, TriCoast along with the strict guidance of the wonderful Texas based Ad Agency  capture the images needed to complete the final product which will be developed for TDECU.

Ranging from the Houston Texas area all the way down the coastline to around Corpus Christie area TDECU is the second largest credit union in the State of Texas serving the smaller – blue collar areas along the greater Gulf Coast.  Due to this range our images have been seen on billboards, fliers, ATM and Drive Through marketing, and even TV ads.

Below is a simple example of how we capture the images for TDECU, a before image as captured then a final product as the members of TDECU see them.  In this case fliers which were displayed in the main branch office here in our home town of Lake Jackson, Texas.

So the next time you in Texas and see a TDECU branch look for the photos, while our name is not on the images, TriCoast is behind just about all of them.

Last night TriCoast got to do a something we rarely get to do……..photograph a local wedding where our studio is located (Brazoria County, Texas) and the groom being one of Mike’s old neighbors next to his parents house.  Having grown up and watching Scotty (Scott) grow up it was quite nice to spend his special day with him and his new bride.  Here are a few images from their special event!

Thank you both for allowing us to share your wedding day with you!
